Dennis Lyandres
The revenue leader who helped take Procore from about $10 million to more than $900 million in revenue now advises and sits on boards.
Current work: boards and advisory
Dennis Lyandres is a board director and advisor in software go-to-market. On February 7, 2025 CaptivateIQ, a sales performance management company, appointed him to its board of directors. The announcement also describes him as an advisor to ICONIQ Capital who sits on several other boards that it does not name.[1]
Procore: eight years of growth
Lyandres joined Procore, the construction management software company, in 2014 as executive vice president of sales and became chief revenue officer in 2018. As CRO he oversaw sales, marketing, customer success, revenue operations, business development and Procore.org. Over his roughly eight and a half years there, annual recurring revenue grew from about $10 million to more than $900 million and the company went public on the NYSE. Those figures come from the CaptivateIQ announcement and a podcast profile and describe the company, not his sole contribution.[1][2]
Procore's third-quarter 2022 report put quarterly revenue at $186 million, up 41 percent, with 14,086 organic customers at quarter end. It also disclosed that, effective October 31, 2022, he resigned as chief revenue officer and became Special Advisor to the CEO, focused on international expansion and scale.[3]
Earlier career
Before Procore he held sales and sales-management roles at the data companies Cloudera and Pentaho, where he was an early sales leader.[1][2]
Views on vertical SaaS
In a 2024 podcast listing, the topics covered include how vertical SaaS companies can win by going hyperlocal and building multi-product offerings, and a view that hiring should weight potential and experience scaling a business more heavily than domain expertise. Those are described at topic level in the episode notes, so no further detail is given here.[2]
Why he matters
Lyandres is one of the revenue leaders most associated with a vertical SaaS company that scaled to nine-figure revenue and a public listing. His move to board and advisory work reflects a pattern among former CROs who share go-to-market playbooks with growth-stage companies.[1][2][3]
Note on names
The executive quoted on that quarterly report as CFO, Paul Lyandres, is a different person with the same surname.[3]
On The Executive List
Dennis Lyandres is ranked No. 71 on The Executive List (October 2026) in the Chief Revenue Officers discipline. He is a former Procore chief revenue officer; he now advises ICONIQ Capital and serves on the board of CaptivateIQ, among others. The ranking reflects The Executive Review's own editorial Trending Score; it is not an outside award, and placement on the list is never sold. View the October 2026 edition.
