Current role at GrowthZone

Catie Ivey is Chief Revenue Officer at GrowthZone, a role announced on October 30, 2025. She leads the company's combined revenue organization of sales, marketing and customer success. Her GrowthZone biography describes her approach as people-first and strengths-based, and says she has more than 15 years of B2B SaaS leadership with a record of scaling global go-to-market teams.[1][2]

GrowthZone calls itself the leading provider of association management software. Its products include MemberSuite AMS for multifaceted organizations, GrowthZone AMS for mid-sized associations and ChamberMaster for chambers of commerce, along with add-ons such as payments, content management, community, learning and an AI-powered newsletter. The company says it serves thousands of organizations; it does not publish revenue or headcount figures.[2][3]

Recent company news

In January 2026 GrowthZone announced Kelly Dick as Chief Product Officer, a full company rebrand with a refreshed website, and a new office in Atlanta, Georgia. The Atlanta site is intended as a center of excellence supporting product development, customer success and go-to-market teams. Ivey said in the announcement that the office represents a pivotal investment in the company's ability to scale and better serve customers. The release also names Paul Plaia III as CEO.[3]

Walnut: first Chief Revenue Officer

Before GrowthZone, Ivey was Chief Revenue Officer at Walnut, an interactive demo platform. Walnut announced her hire on November 1, 2023, and the GrowthZone release says she was brought in as its first CRO to rebuild and scale the go-to-market engine across marketing, sales and customer experience.[1][4]

In the Walnut announcement she said she has led sales teams for most of her career and has also evaluated and bought a great deal of software, a buyer's perspective that fits Walnut's stated aim of improving the software buying experience.[4]

Earlier roles

Walnut's announcement says she led Enterprise Sales at Pendo immediately before joining, and that she had earlier headed revenue teams at Demandbase, Marketo, Salesforce and Meltwater.[4]

How she leads

Her leadership page frames the CRO job as uniting sales, marketing and customer success into one revenue organization rather than three separate functions. That structure matches the two jobs she has taken since 2023, each of which put her over the full customer lifecycle at a smaller software company.[2][1]

GrowthZone's page adds a personal note that she has visited 52 countries.[2]

Why she matters

Ivey's path runs from large marketing-automation and account-based-marketing vendors to product-adoption and demo software, and now to vertical software for associations and chambers of commerce. For readers following B2B revenue leadership, she is an example of an enterprise sales executive moving into a niche, relationship-driven market where renewals and member engagement matter as much as new logos.[1][4]

What is not public

Education, GrowthZone revenue and customer counts, and tenure dates before Walnut are omitted.[2][4]
