Latané Conant
The marketer who helped take 6sense from a 75-person team to more than 1,200 employees, and then became its first chief revenue officer, is now building the brand of an agentic AI company.
A new seat at Parloa
Latané Conant is the first Chief Marketing Officer of Parloa, an enterprise AI company that builds agents for customer service. Parloa announced the appointment in mid-November 2025 and gave her a mandate covering its expansion in the United States as well as global marketing and brand. The company, founded in 2018 by Malte Kosub and Stefan Ostwald, describes its platform as one that lets enterprises build, test and deploy large numbers of AI agents. At the time of the announcement it described itself as having about 300 employees across Berlin, Munich and New York.[1]
She arrived as the company was scaling quickly. TechCrunch reported in January 2026 that Parloa raised $350 million in a Series D round led by General Catalyst, at a $3 billion valuation, up from $1 billion eight months earlier when it raised $120 million. The same report put annual recurring revenue above $50 million as of December 2025 and listed Allianz, Booking.com, HealthEquity, SAP, Sedgwick and Swiss Life among its enterprise customers, with the new capital aimed at an experience that recognizes a customer across apps, websites and phone calls.[5]
Early career: Arthur Andersen, Ariba and Appirio
Industry coverage of her 6sense appointments says she has roughly two decades in marketing, sales and go-to-market management. She began at Arthur Andersen, then worked as a strategic account executive at the software company Ariba. She next spent more than six years at the IT consulting firm Appirio, where she finished as general manager for the Americas and global chief marketing officer.[3]
On the SaaStr podcast she described her path at Appirio as starting in software sales, eventually running a sales region that covered about half the country. She said she built demand-generation capabilities the company lacked, including a business development team and an outbound model, because she wanted her reps to have enough pipeline, and that the CEO later asked her to take on marketing. An account-based marketing pilot there worked operationally but did not justify its cost, she said, and that experience is what led her to 6sense, whose technology she saw as a way to aim resources at the right accounts.[4]
Six years as 6sense's marketing chief
Conant joined 6sense, the revenue AI platform, in 2018 as chief marketing officer; the company used the title Chief Market Officer. When Parloa announced her hire, it credited her with leading brand, marketing and strategy teams as 6sense grew from about 75 people to more than 1,200, and the company was described there as valued at $5.2 billion. Parloa also says she is known for creating new market and product categories and has worked across marketing, sales and customer success.[3][1]
When 6sense promoted her in October 2023, its announcement said revenue had grown 100 percent year over year five separate times during her six years in the marketing role. The release also said she had pushed the company to use AI in its own go-to-market work, including an effort to have its Conversational Email product autonomously generate more than 10 percent of the company's pipeline.[2]
First chief revenue officer
On October 4, 2023, 6sense named her its first Chief Revenue Officer, putting sales, customer success, marketing, partnerships and professional services under one leader. She said she planned to apply account-based principles to customer onboarding and adoption, grow the partner ecosystem and help customers get results from AI. Chief executive Jason Zintak praised her customer empathy, market knowledge and platform expertise in the announcement.[2]
The move reflected an idea she had long argued for: that account executives should share ownership of pipeline with marketing, and that the two teams should work from the same buying signals.[4]
How she approaches go-to-market
In the SaaStr conversation she rejected the notion that account-based marketing means lavish spending on a handful of accounts, describing it instead as using data and analytics so a team does the right thing at the right time for the accounts most likely to buy. She said she scores a whole buying team and its engagement rather than a single contact when deciding whether sales or marketing should follow up, that outbound should follow intent signals such as research and site visits, and that the approach suits complex B2B sales with several personas and long cycles.[4]
On planning, she described a sales kickoff process in which leadership sets the company vision first and then translates it into go-to-market priorities across sales, marketing and customer success, with teams arriving with finished resources rather than plans.[4]
Writing and community
Conant is the author of the B2B go-to-market book No Forms. No Spam. No Cold Calls. Parloa credits her as a co-founder of CMO Coffee Talk, a network of more than 3,000 marketing leaders, and as the leader of the Empowered CMO Network, a community supporting women in leadership.[1]
Why she matters
Conant is one of the better-documented examples of a revenue leader who crossed the line between marketing and sales and then carried that view into a new category. Her move from a B2B software platform to a customer-experience AI company puts her in charge of explaining agentic AI to enterprise buyers in the US market while the company expands. Published sources do not list her education or board seats, so none are given here.[1][2][5]
